SureFloors offers a variety of etching and coating processes designed to increase friction and durability on most flooring surfaces. An examination by a SureFloors representative will reveal which process is ideally suited for your flooring surface.

The SureFloors Floor Safety Process

  1. Our professionals perform a Safety Audit and inspect your floors to determine which of our floor safety products and processes will work best for your business.
  2. Next, we treat a small area of your flooring surface with our suggested treatment or provide samples of our coating process to demonstrate just how much the floor’s friction and durability properties can be improved.
  3. We identify other potential opportunities for improving flooring safety within your organization. These opportunities may include changes in footwear and cleaning procedures and suggested employee policies on the subject of flooring safety.
    SureFloors has established relationships with insurance companies and anti-slip footwear companies to further assist you in achieving optimum flooring safety and savings.
  4. We measure the chosen area and provide a quotation specific to your situation.
  5. If you desire, a presentation to your key peers showing how SureFloors can professionally bring increased flooring safety to your company.
  6. After the work is performed, SureFloors implements, at no extra charge, our Floor Safety Maintenance Program in which we monitor the condition of your flooring surfaces on a periodic basis for as long as the treatment remains effective.

Safe Solution: the optimized etching treatment
Safe Solution is a chemical etching treatment designed to increase traction by creating invisible microscopic channels on your flooring and other surfaces. The Safe Solution treatment is effective on most hard mineral surfaces, including ceramic tile, clinker/quarry tile, porcelain tiles, granite, and steel-enamel bathtubs.

SureFloors UT Coating: the advanced, water based, acrylic/urethane copolymer coating
UT Coating is an environmentally friendly, water based, acrylic/urethane copolymer with recycled rubber crumb as an aggregate. This versatile coating is extremely durable and designed to adhere to most substrates with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance, rendering these surfaces anti-slip. UT Coating contains no VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) and is odorless. Typical thickness is approximately 30-40 mils.

Unlike epoxies, UT Coating is very flexible, making it chip and impact resistant. It will handle wear from foot traffic to forklift and automotive traffic. UT Coating is an air dry, air cure coating that is non-flammable and available in nineteen UV resistant colors. Custom colors are available at a nominal surcharge.

The UT Coating adheres to metal, concrete, painted surfaces, aluminum, fiberglass, wood, and most any primed surface.

Safe Solution and UT Coating are environmentally friendly, effective treatments that are safe for application in food serving and preparation areas.

G Series Coating Products
The G Series Coating Products were designed for use by the U.S. military. These mil-spec coatings are available in a variety of formulations for a number of uses, including anti-slip, flame resistance, corrosion resistance, and resilience.

Skid Safe: the tough as nails clear resin for sealed concrete, wood floors, metal, and other surfaces
Skid Safe is a clear resin coating designed for use on most any flooring type. This exceptionally durable coating can be applied directly on top of virtually any existing coating, eliminating the costly step of stripping or resurfacing a floor. When mixed with our aluminum oxide aggregate, the Skid Safe coating produces an amazingly durable anti-slip surface that's far superior to silica or quartz aggregate floors.

Clean Step: the cleaning product
After a surface has been properly treated with Safe Solution, its anti-slip properties are best retained by keeping the surface as clean as possible. The Clean Step product is designed as a premium cleaner, made specifically for surfaces that have been microscopically etched using the Safe Solution treatment. Clean Step is an antibacterial, nontoxic, high performance, multipurpose cleaner that is formulated to be used in a variety of applications. Highly effective in a range of dilutions, Clean Step is key to developing a cost-effective daily cleaning regimen for a variety of industrial, commercial, and residential uses.

Floor Safety Maintenance Program (FSMP): the monitoring program
When you contract with SureFloors to treat your floors using the Safe Solution process, SureFloors doesn't just treat your floors and leave. In this program, by monitoring your floors, we will become your partner in ensuring that your floors remain anti-slip for as long as possible.

The FSMP is an ongoing inspection and training program, provided at no additional charge, and is designed specifically to optimize and prolong the anti-slip properties of your Safe Solution treated floor. Through the FSMP, we offer valuable training in how to properly clean your floors and provide documentation for use in the unlikely event of a slip-fall claim.
